COW BELLES CAMPGROUND

Cow Belles Campground is used for picnicing and overnight camping.  Camp Site Trailers, Tents and Vehicles cannot be left unattended for over 48 hours. Camping longer than 14 days is prohibited unless arrangements have been made with Musselshell County.  Quiet hours are enforced between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Speed limit through Cow Belles is not to exceed 15 mph.  Restrooms are only open seasonaly during warm weather.  (Usually mid to late May through the 1st to mid September depending on weather patterns.)  Donations for maintenance are accepted in the donation post on the west entrance.  Donations are greatly appreciated.  

MUSSELSHELL VALLEY HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Step back into the days of the old west.  Cowboys and cattle drives.  Coal mines, one room country schools and general stores. 

Experience life as it was in the old west.  Tour an original log cabin built by English Lords for their early cattle operation.  With over 7,000 square feet of exhibit area you're sure to enjoy the experience.

The museum is open seven days per week from May through September.  Hours of operation are 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.  There is no admission fee, however donations are gratefully accepted.

ROUNDUP HERITAGE RIVERWALK

The Heritage Trail and River Walk offers beautiful scenery

right on the Musselshell River. Many events throughout the year are held at the Musselshell County Fairgrounds such as the 4-H fair, 4th of July rodeo, and the Fall Festival.

 

The Mills Memorial Field is also a great asset to the community.

In previous years the Mills park has hosted the Slugfest,

which is an adult co-ed softball league.

Swim Lessons

Swimming lessons are offered at no cost.

The slots fill up quickly and are offered on a first come, first serve basis. Opening dates vary year to year. 

 

Pool Policy

The pool offers recreation to all ages.

Water aerobics, free swim & swim team, are just some of the activities offered.

SHOOTING RANGE

The Roundup Sportsman's Association

is located at 7 Golf Course Road,

just west of the Pine Ridge Golf Course. 


The Roundup Sportsman's range has an archery range that

winds its way through a coulee, a trap area for shotguns,

a 25 yard range for sight-in and rim-fire,

a 100 and 200 yard rifle range, and a handgun range.

PINE RIDGE GOLF COURSE

Roundup has a beautiful 9-hole "Pine Ridge" course at the

Pine Ridge Golf Course facility in Roundup, Montana.

It features 2,849 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36.

Designed by Frank Hummel, the Pine Ridge golf course opened in 1982.
